The Japanese group The Sweet Hollywaiians plays music in the rich tradition of the western music of the 1920s and 1930s. hawaiian tunes. swing, calypso and Italian songs. The members of the band are Tomotaka Matsui, Nobumasa Takada, Takashi Nakayama and Kouichi Tsutsumishita. Last year they visited the US and played in Los Angeles with musicians like Janet Klein and Tom Marion, who plays in R. Crumb's Cheap Suit Serenaders.
